Iʼm Kal Gutman. I have 40 years of experience as a carpet repair artisan. Itʼs all I do.
I started in 1977 as an apprentice to a European craftsman, who taught me to work on
everything from Axminster wool to Crossley Karastan to Berber, and synthetics.
I do your work – no subcontractors, no second rate carpet installers or even carpet cleaners who took a two day class on
carpet repair and re-installation, no sidelines or part-time jobbers here!

Carpet repair is a science and an art. I combine the technical know-how with the

I started an apprenticeship in 1977 with a fellow who was a Hungarian immigrant who specialized in custom carpet work on Axminster wool and also the high quality carpets of Crossley Karastan carpets where every detail was very important with expensive broadloom that would show every deficiency if installed poorly.
